As the second quarter of 2024 wraps up, Sensor Tower has provided insights into the performance of top theme park apps on the iOS platform. Here's a look at how five major theme park applications have fared during this period.
Disneyland® Paris saw a notable download peak in late April with 757K, but downloads then fluctuated, ending the quarter at 265K. Weekly active users (WAUs) spiked to 1.4M in the same period, later stabilizing around 886K.
The Gardaland Resort App Ufficiale experienced its highest downloads in late April at 211K, while WAUs peaked at 167K. Both metrics showed a general upward trend with downloads closing at 100K and WAUs at 99K for the last week of June.
Europa-Park & Rulantica had its download numbers soar to 188K in late April and finished the quarter with a significant jump to 190K. Active users reached a high of 151K in the final week of June, demonstrating growing engagement.
Disneyland® app's downloads and WAUs showed a steady increase in late April, with downloads peaking at 108K and WAUs at 239K. The quarter ended with downloads at 36K and WAUs remaining consistent at 153K. Revenue for the app showed an exceptional rise in early May, hitting 46M USD.
Lastly, the Gardaland Express app, which had no reported revenue, saw downloads spike at 244K in late April, followed by a dip and a rebound to 80K by the end of June. Active users mirrored this trend with an initial surge up to 71K, followed by a moderate decrease.
